Welcome to energy for us

Energy for Us puts proven communication, grassroots and campaign strategies to work early in the development of clean energy infrastructure projects, before the opposition that has derailed so many projects can take root.

The elements for a historic transition of our energy system are finally in place:

Technology: Advancements in clean energy technology have brought down costs to the point that in some cases the least expensive source of new generation is renewable.

Money: In both the public and private sectors, an unprecedented amount of investments stand ready to fund the energy transition. The Inflation Reduction Act contained $400 billion in funding for renewable energy investment, adding to billions already in play from the private sector. According to the IEA, for every $1 invested in fossil fuels worldwide, $1.70 is now invested in clean energy.

Necessity: There is widespread consensus that a transition away from fossil fuels is not optional. It is no longer a question of if we should make the shift to renewable energy, but how quickly can we make it happen.

But there is one piece missing, and too often it leads to delays or cancellations of clean energy projects…

The Problem

While federal and state authorities have shown interest in speeding up the permitting process for energy projects, even in the best case scenario it will be months or years from the time a regulatory body announces a new project… Read more
